David Dalby, AIA, is a registered
architect in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and is a
member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), International
Facility Management Association (IFMA), and the Construction
Specification Institute (CSI).
Although he started the firm in 2004,
his more than 20 years experience in construction management, general
construction, and subcontracting, exposes the firm to an extensive
knowledge of the construction industry in all phases and types of
construction and to a unique understanding of preparing job cost
estimates, establishing and monitoring construction schedules and
developing cost effective solutions to project related problems and
As a helicopter pilot, Dave provides
the added benefit of being able to visit multiple sites in a limited
period of time by flying at low levels over a site to get a clear
picture of the surrounding neighborhoods, identify major traffic
patterns and locate possible water runoff and other issues that could
affect site development.
We offer a full range of
architectural and interior design services from presentation
documentation, programming and preliminary space planning, through
design and construction documentation, to construction administration
and project closeout.

dalby architect provides specification writing services (outline and
full version), quality control and assurance review, code review and
analysis, and value engineering.
We utilize the most recent versions
of CAD and 3D modeling and rendering programs on Microstation or
AutoCAD platforms and with Microsoft Project or Primevera P3 for
project and construction scheduling. We are familiar with
Primavera Expedition and AutoDesk Buzzsaw® to track change orders,
submittals, construction progress and to improve communication and
collaboration among project team members

organize and manage multiple projects to a successful on-time
completion within the identified budget.
With completed projects in Florida,
California, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware we
review, understand and interpret many different local and national
building codes and regulations that affect design and occupancy.
